DOB: Jan, 2002 approx. Color: Black Hooded rex Kahega was a rescue whom I adopted at around 5-6 months old, he was later neutered and took over his new home fast. Kahega was named after a character in the movie Congo although, he's let me know that he's really not too fond of the name and will only respond to "Egga." He is the sweetest big boy...truly a one in a million type of guy. Though he had a jealous streak when I started to get new rats after him, he's actually turned into 'big momma' to all the babies. He's got an extremely playful, happy, gentle personality and loves to romp and play with the others. He's very intelligent and intuitive, I often get the cold shoulder for a day or more if he doesn't get his way or doesn't like something. He has a nickname, "Kamikaze" because he loves to leap from a few feet away, to my chest...this is a trick he's very proud of and does it when he's expecting a yogurt drop. I'm so lucky to have found this guy, he's such a pleasure. |
